Resistance Temperature Detectors (RTDs)
GTS Offers accurate temperature measurement from -200 Deg C to + 800 Deg C - Wire wound & Thin Film Sensors, Ceramic Encapsulated, Class A & Class B accuracy. Protection sheath SS316, SS304 and other grades and sizes from 3 mm to 15 mm and more.
Wire configuration:
2-Wire, 3-Wire and 4 wire, Simplex and Duplex constructions. Sensor Elements have calibration & traceability to ASTM E585 / E 585 M – 01a, BS EN 60584-1 IEC 584, IEC 1515, ANSI / MC 96.1.
RTD - Replaceable Assemblies
•RTD Element with Round Terminal block , spring loaded. can be mounted directly in to the Thermocouple / RTD head.
•RTD Sensor with cable – PVC, TEFLON and Fibre Glass Insulated. Suitable for cryogenic to High Temperature applications.
Industrial RTD Assemblies :
RTD assemblies are supplied with Connection Head , Protection Sheaths &Thermowells.
Connection Heads: Cast Aluminium & Cast Iron ,Weather proof - IP 65, IP 66, NEMA 4 & NEMA 4X. Hazardous Area /Explosion Proof , as per NEC Class 1 Div1, Group B,C & D. ATEX ( CENELEC ) , E exd, IIB , IIC , T3..T6 . ATEX II 2 G.
Protection Sheath / Thermowells: With Protection Pipes in SS 316, 310, 321, 446, Inconel- 600/601, Tantalum, Titanium & other metals. Ceramic Sheaths for very High Temperature Platinum Thermocouples. Also with Thermowells, bar stock machined of various styles.
Mounting Options:
Sliding compression fitting, Hex Nipple, Nipple-Union-Nipple, Spring loaded Nipple, Male BSP / NPT Threading & Various types & sizes of Flanges
Miniature Bearing Sensors:
GTS manufactures a range of miniature bearing sensors designed specifically for use in bearing applications for monitoring of bearing temperature. The bearing sensors, which are available in both Thermocouple and RTD, are designed to fit underneath the bearing shoe and are supplied in standard or spring loaded configuration. Bearing thermocouples and RTD sensors have an operating temperature range of -60 to +250C.
